At CareForce, we take an approach that goes far beyond traditional primary care.
Using in-depth, affordable lab panels, we uncover the root causes of symptoms and help you understand your body on a deeper level. From hormone health and metabolic function to fasting insulin, IGF-1, thyroid (T3), iron levels, and Hemoglobin A1C - we assess it all.
Choose from our wide selection of curated panels or let us build a custom one tailored exactly to your needs. Your health deserves a complete picture, not just a snapshot.
Starting your journey with functional medicine at CareForce is simple and flexible. We offer both televisits and in-office appointments, so you can choose what works best for your schedule and comfort level. For more complex or intense symptoms, we may recommend an in-office visit to ensure a more thorough evaluation but both options are available.
Begin with a telehealth or in-person consultation with one of our providers. During this visit, we’ll listen to your concerns, review your symptoms, and discuss your health goals;
Based on your symptoms, we will recommend the most appropriate lab panels—and you’re welcome to request additional testing if desired.
Please note: Most labs require fasting for accurate results.
Once your panel is ordered, you’ll have 7 days to visit any LabCorp location to complete your blood draw. If not completed within this window, a new order may be required.
Within 2–3 days of your lab draw, we will schedule a follow-up to review your results. During this one-on-one session, your provider will:
We’ll work together to create a personalized plan that supports healing from the inside out; rooted in science, not just symptoms.
All patients will receive their test results through our secure client portal or in-office. Each patient is scheduled for a one-on-one session with a provider to review lab results and receive personalized health recommendations. Our team takes a holistic approach to interpreting your labs and addressing any potential concerns.

Modern medicine has made extraordinary strides in treating disease, but it often falls short in answering the most important question: Why is this happening in the first place? This is where functional medicine steps in - and why leaders in the space like Dr. Casey Means, Dr. Mark Hyman, and Dr. Andrew Huberman advocate for a more holistic, root-cause approach to wellness.
Functional medicine views the body as an integrated system, not a collection of disconnected symptoms. Rather than relying solely on medications to mask issues, it asks: What underlying imbalances are driving these symptoms? Through comprehensive bloodwork, we can get a clear picture of what’s really going on - whether it's chronic inflammation, hormone dysregulation, nutrient deficiencies, or insulin resistance.
As Dr. Casey Means explains in her work with Levels Health and her book Good Energy, metabolic dysfunction is at the root of many modern illnesses -including fatigue, anxiety, brain fog, and even depression. She and other thought leaders argue that we must treat these issues through food, lifestyle, and cellular health, not just prescriptions.
Take diabetes, for example. As Dr. Mark Hyman frequently points out, Type 2 diabetes is largely a food-driven condition, and in many cases, it can be prevented or even reversed through nutrition and lifestyle interventions. Yet, too often, patients are given medication before being offered the chance to correct their metabolic health naturally.
Dr. Huberman, a neuroscientist at Stanford, reinforces this perspective by connecting neurobiology, stress, sleep, and nutrition to overall physical health. His work supports the idea that real healing happens when we understand the full context of someone’s biology, not just the symptoms that show up in the moment.
At CareForce, we believe in this approach. Bloodwork is a powerful tool, not to chase disease, but to illuminate the imbalances causing symptoms - whether it’s exhaustion, stubborn weight gain, or anxiety. Our goal is to use this information to empower patients to take control of their health, prevent disease, and, in many cases, reverse conditions that were once considered chronic.
Functional medicine isn’t just a trend - it’s the future of healthcare. And it starts with understanding what your body is telling you from the inside out.
These panels provide a comprehensive overview of your overall health. Together, they evaluate your blood quality, organ function (including liver, kidneys, and thyroid), blood sugar control, cholesterol levels, and vitamin D status. This panel can help detect early signs of chronic conditions like diabetes, heart disease, anemia, thyroid imbalance, and nutrient deficiencies giving you valuable insight into how your body is functioning and where improvements may be needed.
This set of tests offers a detailed look into several common root causes of fatigue. It evaluates your thyroid function, hormone levels, iron and vitamin stores, and how well your organs are working. These labs can reveal imbalances or deficiencies like low thyroid activity, anemia, low testosterone, poor vitamin D or B12 levels that often contribute to low energy, brain fog, and exhaustion. Overall, they provide a comprehensive view of how your body is functioning and help identify if your fatigue is due to hormonal, nutritional, or metabolic issues.
This group of tests provides a broad overview of your health as it relates to fitness and physical well-being. They assess hormone balance, metabolic and organ function, cardiovascular health, and overall blood status. Together, these results can highlight factors that influence your energy levels, muscle function, recovery, and cardiovascular fitness, helping to guide personalized strategies to optimize your performance and long-term health.
This set of tests provides a comprehensive overview of your overall health with a focus on key areas important for women’s well-being. It evaluates your metabolic and organ function, blood health, cardiovascular risk, thyroid and hormone balance, iron stores, and markers of inflammation. Together, these results help identify hormonal imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, and other factors that can affect energy, mood, reproductive health, and long-term wellness giving a well-rounded picture to guide personalized care.
This set of tests offers a thorough look at your overall health with a focus on factors important for men’s wellness. It evaluates your metabolic and organ function, hormone levels, cardiovascular risk, blood health, and inflammation. Together, these results provide insight into your energy, hormone balance, heart health, and potential areas affecting vitality and long-term well-being, helping guide personalized health strategies.
These panels together give a comprehensive picture of:
This comprehensive set of panels provides a deep insight into your functional health by assessing your metabolic balance, hormone regulation, immune and inflammatory status, nutrient levels, and thyroid function. It helps reveal how well your body manages energy, stress, inflammation, and hormonal harmony - all critical factors for overall vitality, disease prevention, and optimal wellness. These results enable a personalized approach to improving your health by identifying hidden imbalances or deficiencies before they develop into chronic issues.
These tests help identify whether you may have true allergies (which are immediate and immune-mediated) or sensitivities (which are more delayed and sometimes controversial in interpretation). Measure IgE antibodies, which are linked to immediate allergic reactions., measures IgG or IgA antibodies, which are associated with delayed food sensitivities. These reactions might show up as bloating, fatigue, headaches, or skin issues hours or even days after eating the offending food.
In addition to our core panels, we offer a wide range of specialized lab testing, including:

At CareForce, we offer GeneSight® testing to help personalize your treatment plan especially when it comes to mental health and medication management.
GeneSight is a genetic test that analyzes how your genes may affect your body’s response to certain psychiatric medications, including those used to treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other behavioral health conditions. This test can help reduce the trial-and-error process of finding the right medication by showing which drugs may be more effective or more likely to cause side effects based on your unique DNA.
Note: GeneSight is occasionally covered by insurance, but CareForce is not responsible for any costs not covered. Patients are encouraged to verify their coverage directly with GeneSight or their insurance provider. Visit www.Genesight.com for more information.
We recommend completing GeneSight testing before beginning any medication management so we can make the most informed, effective decisions about your care.
